En casa, trabaj\u00f3 duro criando a su hijo como madre soltera. Antes, ten\u00eda un trabajo estable y pod\u00eda controlar sus finanzas. Ahora, lucha por sobrevivir con los pagos por discapacidad y complementa esos magros ingresos trabajando a tiempo parcial como conductora de Lyft.<\/p>\n<p>El ahorro se hace a\u00fan m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil porque Melodee viaja entre Arizona y San Diego para recibir su tratamiento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Una subvenci\u00f3n de SOPFCA paga el alquiler<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cuando Melodee nos envi\u00f3 su solicitud de subvenci\u00f3n, llevaba m\u00e1s de cinco a\u00f1os luchando contra el c\u00e1ncer de mama. Ahora, en la etapa IV de la enfermedad, est\u00e1 recibiendo medicamentos que prolongan la vida mientras sigue cuidando a su hijo de 14 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Nos complace haberle otorgado a Melodee una subvenci\u00f3n que la ayud\u00f3 a pagar el alquiler.
