With no income and no safety net, her diagnosis has added urgent stress to an already difficult situation. Cristina is currently undergoing chemotherapy and doing everything she can to care for her daughter and stay strong through treatment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No Room for Extras, Only Essentials<\/strong><br \/>\nUnable to work and with no steady financial support, Cristina worried about affording the basics \u2014 food, gas, and everyday household needs \u2014 all while fighting for her life. \u201cI feel overwhelmed thinking of how I\u2019m going to support us and still get to treatment,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hope in a Time of Uncertainty<\/strong><br \/>\nThanks to your generosity, Cristina received Walmart and grocery gift cards from SOPFCA to help her cover food and essentials. \u201cReceiving this assistance will give me peace of mind knowing I will have something to help get me through,\u201d she told us.
