Living on a fixed income in San Diego, she\u2019s had to manage the growing costs of treatment \u2014 including co-pays, medications, and rising gas prices \u2014 without a financial safety net. Her chemotherapy began in September and will continue through the spring.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Weight of Getting to Treatment<\/strong><br \/>\nWith limited Medicare coverage, even routine travel to appointments has been a financial challenge. \u201cIt\u2019s created so much stress and anxiety in my life,\u201d Sherri shared.
