El c\u00e1ncer ten\u00eda otros planes. En junio de 2018, a esta empleada dom\u00e9stica a tiempo completo le diagnosticaron un carcinoma ductal invasivo. Despu\u00e9s de una cirug\u00eda, se someti\u00f3 a quimioterapia y luego a radioterapia.<\/p>\n<p>El tratamiento dej\u00f3 a Carol demasiado d\u00e9bil para continuar con su exigente trabajo f\u00edsico. Se tom\u00f3 una licencia temporal, pero los pagos por discapacidad que recibi\u00f3 fueron mucho menores que su salario.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTodav\u00eda tengo que pagar todas mis facturas normales\u201d, nos escribi\u00f3 Carol en su solicitud de subvenci\u00f3n, \u201cy el tratamiento de mi c\u00e1ncer ha a\u00f1adido nuevos gastos m\u00e9dicos mensuales en un momento en que mis ingresos mensuales se han reducido considerablemente\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mantenerse positivo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La historia de Carol es un gran recordatorio de que los costos diarios de la vida, como el pago del alquiler, el seguro del autom\u00f3vil y los gastos de la compra, siguen apareciendo incluso cuando se tiene c\u00e1ncer.
