Mar\u00eda y su esposo hicieron justamente eso: criaron a dos hijos. Ambos trabajaban y el ingreso de Mar\u00eda era una parte crucial de su c\u00e1lculo financiero.<\/p>\n<p>Y luego vino el c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p>En octubre de 2018, a Mar\u00eda le diagnosticaron carcinoma ductal tubular. Tuvo que someterse a una cirug\u00eda y es posible que deba someterse a otro procedimiento. Despu\u00e9s de eso, comenzar\u00e1 un r\u00e9gimen de radioterapia largo y debilitante.<\/p>\n<p>Como resultado de su tratamiento, Mar\u00eda tuvo que dejar su trabajo y ahora depende de su discapacidad para llegar a fin de mes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un salario al l\u00edmite<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Las facturas normales y cotidianas no desaparecen cuando alguien tiene c\u00e1ncer. De hecho, los costos aumentan. El c\u00e1ncer requiere numerosos copagos, medicamentos caros, alimentos especiales y mucha gasolina para llegar a una interminable serie de citas.
