Beneficiario de la subvenci\u00f3n: Caprece<\/h2>\n

Diagn\u00f3stico: <\/strong>C\u00e1ncer de mama en estadio IIIB (diagnosticado en septiembre de 2010)<\/p>\n

Tratamiento: <\/strong>Quimioterapia, tratamientos hormonales, mastectom\u00eda doble<\/p>\n

Subvenci\u00f3n que se utilizar\u00e1 para: <\/strong>Facturas de servicios p\u00fablicos, seguro de autom\u00f3vil<\/p>\n

Historia del paciente: <\/strong>Caprece es madre de dos hijos y en 2010 recibi\u00f3 un diagn\u00f3stico de c\u00e1ncer de mama en etapa tres. Recibi\u00f3 quimioterapia entre 2010 y 2011, seguida de una mastectom\u00eda doble en abril de 2012. Durante este tiempo, Caprece intent\u00f3 cubrir sus costos realizando trabajos ocasionales, como limpiar casas y realizar otras tareas dom\u00e9sticas para otros.<\/p>\n

Desafortunadamente, el c\u00e1ncer de Caprece hizo met\u00e1stasis y, desde entonces, no ha podido trabajar para generar ingresos adicionales. Los pagos de la seguridad social y la discapacidad que recibe no le alcanzan para cubrir sus modestos gastos. Cada vez se atrasa m\u00e1s en sus facturas y ha comenzado a hacer pagos parciales y a depender de la asistencia alimentaria para subsistir.<\/p>\n

Caprece solicit\u00f3 una subvenci\u00f3n para cubrir gastos como alquiler, gasolina, servicios p\u00fablicos y m\u00e1s. Tambi\u00e9n nos cont\u00f3 que no pod\u00eda pagar el seguro de auto y que conduc\u00eda a sus citas m\u00e9dicas sin seguro.<\/p>\n

Pudimos ver claramente que Caprece luchaba por mantenerse a flote ante un diagn\u00f3stico tr\u00e1gico. Nos enorgulleci\u00f3 poder brindarle una subvenci\u00f3n destinada a pagar sus facturas de servicios p\u00fablicos y a contratar un seguro de auto para que pudiera conducir con m\u00e1s confianza a sus citas m\u00e9dicas.
