Antes de que le diagnosticaran c\u00e1ncer de mama, era una empleada productiva que trabajaba duro para pagar sus cuentas y cuidar de su familia.<\/p>\n<p>En marzo de 2014, a Trinh le diagnosticaron c\u00e1ncer de mama en etapa II en su seno izquierdo y comenz\u00f3 quimioterapia y terapia hormonal en el Scripps Memorial Hospital. Como resultado de su tratamiento, ya no pod\u00eda trabajar y las facturas comenzaron a acumularse. Trinh actualmente recibe pagos por discapacidad a corto plazo, manutenci\u00f3n infantil y cupones de alimentos, pero esto a\u00fan no es suficiente para cubrir los gastos b\u00e1sicos, como el alquiler, la comida y los servicios p\u00fablicos. Tambi\u00e9n tiene dificultades para pagar la tarifa de $40 por el transporte a sus citas m\u00e9dicas.<\/p>\n<p>Trinh no habla ni escribe bien en ingl\u00e9s, pero seg\u00fan su enfermera defensora, est\u00e1 ansiosa por volver a trabajar en cuanto termine su tratamiento y recupere fuerzas y salud.
